The Town of Southampton has completed the new Hampton Bays Bike Trail, a two-mile route designed to promote outdoor recreation and healthy living while connecting Good Ground Park to Red Creek Park.

The trail begins at the western edge of Good Ground Park, winds through the woods, and then transitions to on-road bike lanes along Old Riverhead Road and Squiretown Road before reaching Red Creek Park.

Offering a mix of scenic off-road paths and safe on-road accommodations, the trail is designed for cyclists of all ages and skill levels. With the project now complete, residents and visitors can enjoy a safe and enjoyable way to experience the outdoors while strengthening connections within the community.
