Rivian is bringing its Adventure Network to the Hamptons with the opening of a brand-new Charging Outpost in Southampton, its first on the East Coast. Located at 1 Montauk Highway, the 2,000-square-foot site blends the brand’s innovative spirit with the coastal charm of Long Island’s East End, creating both a practical and inviting stop for electric vehicle drivers.

The Southampton outpost features six fast chargers, including a trailer-friendly pull-through option, and is open to all EV owners. With 24/7 access, drivers can conveniently recharge any time of day. The site goes beyond functionality, offering a lounge with complimentary coffee, curated snacks and merchandise, and a family-friendly atmosphere complete with a kids’ play area and outdoor sandpit. The cedar-shingle design reflects the relaxed Hamptons aesthetic, helping the outpost feel like part of the community.

Powered by clean energy sources such as solar and wind, the chargers align with Rivian’s commitment to sustainability. This opening marks the company’s 121st charging site nationwide and 15th in the Northeast, a significant milestone in Rivian’s mission to expand reliable EV infrastructure.

To celebrate the launch, Rivian hosted a grand opening from August 7–10, offering complimentary charging, demo drives, and community events. Seasonal activations and food vendor pop-ups are also planned, underscoring Rivian’s focus on creating not just charging stations but hubs for engagement and exploration.

With its thoughtful amenities, eco-friendly energy use, and prime location minutes from landmarks like the Parrish Art Museum, the Southampton Charging Outpost is set to become a new favorite stop for EV drivers and Hamptons visitors alike.
