Three years ago, one of Greenport’s most popular boutiques made a meaningful move that reshaped its identity and expanded its vision. Popsicle & Finn, known for its elevated coastal style and thoughtfully curated apparel, closed its Front Street doors after Labor Day and reintroduced itself in Cutchogue as North Fork Apothecary.
The new space along Main Road offered owner Stephanie Sack the opportunity to grow beyond the boutique’s original footprint. After opening Popsicle & Finn in spring 2021, Sack quickly recognized the potential for a larger, more immersive retail experience—one that would give each brand room to shine while broadening the store’s offerings.
The building, formerly home to Phoebe & Belle, was beautifully renovated into a bright, airy setting that nods to local history. One standout detail: an original post office counter said to have once served Albert Einstein while he summered on Nassau Point. Its presence adds character and authenticity to the modern general-store concept Sack envisioned.
Today, North Fork Apothecary blends many of Popsicle & Finn’s beloved fashion pieces with an expanded selection of beauty, wellness, home décor, accessories, and thoughtful provisions. The result is a luxurious yet approachable shopping destination rooted in style, comfort, and community.
With a background in experiential marketing, Sack also set out to make the new location more than a retail space. From book clubs and author signings to beauty and wellness pop-ups, the store was designed as a gathering place—somewhere locals and visitors could connect, discover, and unwind.
Located at 37070 Main Road in Cutchogue, North Fork Apothecary continues to reflect the evolving spirit of the North Fork: stylish, creative, and grounded in a strong sense of place.
