The Hilton Garden Inn Riverhead has entered a new chapter following a multi million dollar renovation that repositions the hotel as a modern hospitality anchor at the gateway to the North and South Forks. Now more than 17 years old, the property has been thoughtfully updated to better reflect Hilton brand standards and the evolving expectations of today’s travelers. The hotel, along with its sister property, the 131 suite Residence Inn by Marriott, was acquired by Chicago based real estate firm Bradford Allen, which has been expanding its hospitality portfolio nationwide since 2022.

All 114 guestrooms were fully refreshed with new furniture, bedding, flooring, and redesigned bathrooms. Select suites now feature in room Peloton bikes, reflecting a shift toward wellness focused amenities. Public spaces received upgraded lighting, modern finishes, and technology enhancements designed to improve efficiency and connectivity, while behind the scenes updates incorporated more eco conscious materials and methods.

The on site restaurant, bar, and patio spaces were also updated, alongside the introduction of a new menu with a focus on local sourcing. A newly hired chef is leaning into seasonal ingredients and partnerships with nearby farms and wine producers, reinforcing the hotel’s connection to the surrounding North Fork community. Plans are also underway to develop guest packages in collaboration with local wineries.

While the Hilton Garden Inn caters to shorter stays with a full service experience, the neighboring Residence Inn offers extended stay accommodations and a destination banquet facility. Together, the two properties operate as a cohesive 245 key hospitality hub, with shared values, operational efficiencies, and future improvements planned as Riverhead continues to grow.
