In the heart of Southold, One for All Gifts stands out as more than a place to shop. Opened in 2020 and owned by mother-son duo Theresa DeMarco and her son Sean, the boutique was created to spotlight products made by neurodiverse entrepreneurs and differently abled makers.
The shop curates a thoughtful mix of items including soaps, candles, artwork, clothing, gourmet treats, and stationery, each paired with a story about the person behind it. What began with a dozen featured businesses has grown to more than 60, including several from Long Island, turning the store into a platform for entrepreneurs who are often overlooked.
Sean, who is on the autism spectrum, plays an active role in the day-to-day life of the shop. From helping select new vendors to assisting customers and managing inventory, his presence reinforces the store’s mission of opportunity, independence, and visibility. His own project, Decades Collectibles, features framed reprint movie posters inspired by his love of film.
Pricing is intentionally accessible, encouraging customers to shop small while supporting meaningful work. Locals and visitors alike are drawn not just to the products, but to the values behind them. With its dandelion logo symbolizing overlooked potential, One for All Gifts continues to foster inclusion, connection, and community through every item on its shelves.
