Two anchor businesses now define the revitalized space. Amber Waves is relocating from its nearby location to Park Place, expanding its offerings to include coffee and espresso drinks, fresh pastries, juices, grab-and-go meals, and a curated selection of pantry staples and produce. The move better serves early-morning foot traffic and nearby families while creating a casual gathering spot woven into daily village life.
Joining Amber Waves is Smokey Buns, a fast-casual burger and shake concept from the team behind several well-known East End restaurants. The new spot focuses on smashburgers, fries, shakes, and a strong lineup of vegetarian and vegan options, operating seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Its retro-inspired design and approachable menu are intended to appeal to both locals and visitors throughout the year.
The redevelopment also includes upgrades to infrastructure and landscaping, with a central courtyard connecting Main Street and Park Place being redesigned with seating and greenery. Improvements to wastewater systems were a key component of the project, supporting both environmental goals and the village’s push to allow more food-based uses.
