Hampton Bays natives Tony and Joe Villareale, co-owners of Hampton Watercraft & Marine, have built a legacy on the South Fork that extends far beyond the waterfront. Rooted in the lessons of humility, hard work, and civic responsibility instilled during their upbringing and athletic careers at Hampton Bays High School, the brothers have spent decades quietly investing back into the local fabric of the East End.

Their commitment is reflected in initiatives that directly impact area residents and service members. Each September, the duo hosts an expansive annual veterans’ fishing tournament, joining forces with marina clients across their Hampton Bays and East Moriches locations to provide local service members with a day of offshore camaraderie and sport. Beyond maritime outreach, the brothers champion youth development by funding trade-focused scholarships for graduates across the Hampton Bays, Westhampton Beach, and Eastport-South Manor school districts, while actively contributing to local youth sports and civic organizations like the Hampton Bays Lions Club.

The Hampton Bays Rotary recognized the brothers’ long-standing dedication by selecting them as recipients of the prestigious Tony Galgano Citizen of the Year Award. From operating a youthful boat-cleaning service to managing premier regional marina facilities, the Villareale brothers continue to demonstrate how local commercial success and community stewardship go hand in hand.
