Hampton Bays has a new waterfront hotspot with the arrival of The Whales Tale Hamptons at 78 Foster Avenue. Opened on June 3 by co-owners Sosh Andriano and Brian Autz, the marina-side venue brings a Southern California-inspired menu and lively entertainment to the East End. It’s the second location for the brand, following the original in Northport.
Replacing the former 78 Foster Restaurant & Bar, The Whales Tale Hamptons serves tacos, bowls, salads, and other West Coast-style dishes. Guests can relax in the beer garden with fire pits and cornhole or visit the raw bar window for quick bites and drinks. The on-site market offers snacks and canned beverages for beachgoers.
The opening month featured appearances from reality TV personalities, including Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke of Summer House and Ed “Big Ed” Brown from 90 Day Fiancé. Co-owner Brian Autz will appear on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise, adding to the venue’s buzz.
With its mix of coastal flavors, entertainment, and casual hangout spots, The Whales Tale Hamptons is quickly becoming a go-to destination. This summer, the focus is on connecting with the community and creating a place where guests want to spend hours enjoying food, drinks, and good company.
