Gosman’s Dock by Bagatelle Brings a New Chapter to Montauk

Montauk’s waterfront has entered a new era with the debut of Gosman’s Dock by Bagatelle. The longtime local landmark, first established by the Gosman family in 1943, has been reintroduced under the ownership of Stephen Deckoff and in partnership with the internationally recognized Bagatelle Group.

The reimagined restaurant blends Montauk tradition with Bagatelle’s signature French Mediterranean flair. Designed by Sam Baron, the refreshed space highlights harbor views and a lively ambiance, complemented by music and entertainment on the dock.

Chef Rocco Seminara leads the kitchen, creating a menu that emphasizes locally sourced seafood from Gosman’s own market. Diners can enjoy lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, with dishes that showcase the freshness of the day’s catch alongside modern coastal cuisine.

In addition to the restaurant, the property continues to feature The Topside, Inlet Café, and Clam Bar, as well as its fish markets. Together, these updates mark a new chapter for one of Montauk’s most recognized destinations, positioning Gosman’s Dock by Bagatelle as both a continuation of a legacy and a fresh addition to the East End dining scene.
